I read about the nail polish not nullifying ablution. However, I would like to make people aware that the ingredients in any makeup or cosmetics must be halal. Many people don’t take heed of this and just apply anything. Of course if products have animal ingredients in them, we are not allowed to apply it under any circumstances, let alone go in front of the Almighty and pray with it. Imagine those haraam ingredients touching the Holy Quraan. Astaghfirullah! So please be careful what you apply and find out from companies and vegan/ vegetarian associations first if they are free from animal fats and undenatured alcohol. I just thought that I must share this with everyone, as I’m constantly doing this kind of research. Shukran!
