Question:
I want to know that Marriage is previously fixed by ALLAH or not? I know that a part of feamle body’s bone is made of husband’s bone. Is it true? Then how can we select our predefined husband? I have no clear idea about marriage. Please clarify me in the light of islam, Sunnah and Quran.
Answer:
Allah Most High asked us to assume responsibility for our choices including marriage, without predeterminism (jabr) which is not accepted in Islam. So there is no predefined unique-husband profile other than the directive clarified from the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace), which is that “when someone whose religious practice is acceptable proposes to you, accept him.
