1-Is it permissible to take faal from Quran (a certain type of Istikharah)
2-Keeping in view verse 230 of Sura al Baqarah, Please explain the verse 232 of Sura Al Baqarah. Apparently what seems to me is that verse 230 emphasizes that a woman after divorce can’t marry the ex-husband without performing halalah and verse 232 is allowing to marry ex-husband after “iddat” without performing halalah. Please explain this matter.

1- Yes, because the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) said Allah Most High loves tafa’ul and detests tasha’um; however, certain `ulema limited all istikhara to the istikhara prayer.
2- After three divorces the only way to remarry the same woman is for her to have married and divorced someone else first, which is known as halalah. Short of three divorces the latter is not needed.
