Keep the company of the Awliya and recite often this du`a:
اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ، وَالعَمَلَ الَّذي يُبَلِّغُنِي حُبَّكَ؛ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ حُبَّكَ أحَبَّ إِليَّ مِنْ نَفْسِي وَأهْلِي وَمنَ المَاءِ البارِدِ
which means: “O Allah, I ask You Your love, and love of those who love You, and the deeds that make me reach Your love. O Allah, make Your love dearer to me than my own soul, my family, and cool water [when parched].”
