Question about Nursery and Epidural

Question:

Bismillah,
Asalama Aleikum,

I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter who is presently going to a Montessori nursery. With me at home is my 2 year old daughter, and I am expecting another child within a month, inshallah. My question is whether it is acceptable to send our oldest daughter to nursery instead of keeping her at home? We usually send her from 9.30 until 3.00. I am a house-wife, al hamdulillah but we thought it would be more fun for her there as it is a very good nursery that stimulates her and where she can play with other children her age. Also it is easier for me since I am tired from the pregnancy and don’t have much energy to keep the children busy all the time. However, I do have a lady that helps me at home so it would be possible to keep her at home if that is better.
I also wonder if it is accepted to use pain-relief during delivery, in particular epidural? Where I live there are no midwives so I have to deliver in hospital. I am a bit frightened of the pain, but if epidural is harmful in some way I will try to deliver without it. Is there something I could do in that case to make the delivery easy? Also, do you have any advice on how to make the hospital experience less traumatic for the baby?

Thank you and Allah bless you for this beautiful service you are doing.
