I have the problem that I waste my time with internet addiction and other
useless nonsense.
That’s why I don’t concern on the important things and priorities in my life…
and every nonsense divert me to easy.
That’s why I don’t have much success in my life
and why I don’t have much islamic and general knowledge cause
I can’t concern on study/reading on islamic and general literature.
And I also can’t be usefull for Islam and don’t share in islamic activities!

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Insha-Allah Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani is praying for you.

If you are not married, get married. That will force you to be real.

If you are married, be careful, for if you do not you stand to lose everything due to this addiction. I have seen people lose everything because they could not face down this addiction.

  1. change your own behavior is to recognize what you are doing is wrong.
  2. turn to Allah in repentance asking His help and support of His awliya to stop. You may do as narrated here daily, or every time you repeat the mistake.
Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (r), narrated, “I heard Prophet Mohammad (s) saying: ‘There isn’t a man who, when he commits a sin, rises, makes ablution, and offers two raka`ats of prayers, but Allah forgives his sins.’
  3. be decisive in punishing yourself whenever you repeat the misdeed; as for example fasting, foreswearing TV, etc.
  4. to recognize you have been forgiven.
  5. to forgive oneself.

Feel free to use a 12-step program or other such method, if that will help you stop.

and Allah knows best.
