Assalamu Aleikum,
My husband is a convert under MSN’s hand for our marriage but he doesn’t practice at all. He went to zikr but does not like it, I asked him to participate in prayers etc. he said if I push him he will resent religion and it will cause problems in our marriage. He leaves me to practice as I like; we have pictures of MSN and prayers around the house. Recently I dreamt MSH said I must bring him or MSH himself will have to- what does this mean? Please, I love my husband and bismillah mashallah he is good to me. I am scared he won’t be with S.Mahdi (as) and he will suffer in akhira because he may not be a true believer. Please pray for him to become a true follower and that he finds the face of God in everything.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham will pray for you and your husband. Dream is good news and not pressure. Rather, continue with your own worship and dhikr and let your husband proceed at his own pace. Even the Holy Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) agreed for some new converts’ requests to pray less or not remit zakat, and he said they will do it later. Some women awliya even reached their levels through patience with abusive, wine-bibbing husbands and then the latter repented.
