I’m from Indonesia, i am in condition of 5 month pregnancy Insha Allah.
i would like to ask about umbilical cord, based on Islamic shariah what should we do as a parents later on for the umbilical cord?should it be planted?throw into the sea?or any guidance based on Qur’an, Syekh?

The umbilical cord as other parts of the body must be respected and buried. The practice of the Sahaba (RA) was to bury it.
