Question:
Salam Murshid ,
I have a strange question last two years before I started reading salat and my son face was burnt with hot water. I stopped praying salat after that and no bad things happened to my family. I started reading salat again this Ramadan and with in two days my same son was attacked by a dog and he will have a scar on his face for rest of his life. I don’t understand why when I read salat something bad happens to my family, can you please explain, I do give sadaqa and my zikr regularly.
Answer:
wa ‘alaykum salam.
Salat is obligatory, fard, and doing it is not the cause of your son being harmed. Rather shaytan wants you to think like that to stop you from salat. Rather ask Allah to forgive you and keep giving sadaqa.
