There are narrations that recommend clinging onto Ahlul Bayt as a way of not going astray. What is the Sunni method of following the Ahlul Bayt and how is it different from the way of Shiahs and Salafis?

The pure Sunni method is to love and respect Ahlul Bayt above all others, then love and respect Sahaba above all others, and to scrupulously follow the Qur’an and Prophetic Sunna as conveyed, explained, and practiced by the generality of the Ulama and Awliya of the Umma.
