salamualkum shaykh . My question is regarding the various fitnas that are surrounding the Ahlu Sunnah , like the Wahabi fitnah many youngsters of the Ahlu Sunnah are deviating from the right path and move towards these fitnas .. this makes our iman weaker. What should we do to stop this and how should we preserve our iman? jazakallah
Answer:
wa `alaykum salam,
There is nothing wrong to have normal relations with (even) non-Muslims who are good to us. But see what Qur’an tells us about those who mock at our faith in verse 5:57:
{O you who have attained to faith! Do not take for your friends such as mock at your faith and make a jest of it, but remain conscious of God, if you are truly believers.}
However, the best prescription on how to deal with Wahabi fitna is: stay away from them.
