As’salamu alaiku wa Rahmatullahi wa barkatuhu,
1 – What will be the status of Imam Mahdi (as)? Will he be a Mujtahid, a Qutb or Ghouth?
2 – Will he be Masoom and receive guidance directly from Allah (swt)? If not then how can he (as) be sure about the truth of his teachings or the correct teachings of the Islam?
3 – Some say He (as) will be Kahtim-e-deen? What does it mean? Does Khatim mean He (as) will bring back the practice of the deen to its original form or complete some teachings? Some say He (as) will complete the teaching of Ihsan?
Answer:
`Alaykum as-Salam,
1- He will be a Mujtahid Mutlaq as Mawlana Shaykh Nazim said (Allah sanctify his secret).
2- We will follow him in the same way those who were better than us followed the Rightly-Guided Caliphs, Allah be well-pleased with them.
3- You should query those who say those statements for their exact meanings.
