Question:
Asalaamualaykum,
May Allah bless eshaykh.com ..
———
In response to: https://eshaykh.com/dreams/dream-of-prophet/,
MashaAllah Shaykh Taher gave a very good answer but there was an error,
He wrote: ‘…for while Syed Ahmed Bareli was powerful for his era, in each era there is such a waliullah …’,
Firstly, Imam Ahmed wasn’t Syed,
and “Syed Ahmed Bareli” was his opposite as he was the teacher of deviant Deobandi Ismail Dihlawi .. [for more information read :http://www.scribd.com/doc/33764980/Nida-e-Haqq].
Wikipedia also mentions he was ‘Ahl-e- Hadith’, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syed_Ahmad_Barelvi
Ahmad Bareli did not follow the aqeeda of his pious predecessors such as Shah Waliullah.
I am writing this because they were two completely different people as one had disgusting aqeeda e.g. Rasulallah only deserves respect similiar to that of an elder brother.
I hope you understand why I felt it necessary to correct you. I am not criticising you/your knowledge but felt I had to clarify for readers.
Answer:
