Was the Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) commanded by Allah to make du’a for certain things such as certainty, pardon, forgiveness, etc. and to seek refuge from certain things all to serve as a lesson for Muslims so that they know what to make du’a for? I ask out of the understanding that the Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was the best of Allah’s creation and the best of people in character.
