Question:
Before all the angels, Adam was honored. What good was that honor when he was unceremoniously kicked out? How can human’s earthly endeavors (however great) be meaningful compared to his absence/rejection from Allah’s kingdom?
Answer:
Audhubillahiminashaytanirajeem
BismillahirRahmanirRahim
And surely We have honored the children of Adam, and We carry them in the land and the sea, and We have given them of the good things, and We have made them to excel by an appropriate excellence over most of those whom We have created.
Alhamdulillah Allah honors according to His Unlimited Knowledge. He bestows as He Wills and none can oppose what He chooses. If He speaks Honor to Adam and his progeny there is a reality of honor to affirm, discover and relate too. The highest honor he gave us is the Reality of Muhammad (saws) because he (saws) is the Symbol and reality of Allah’s love and mercy to us. We are being mentioned to Allah by His Prophet (saws) “Ummati Ummati! My People My People!” in the Highest stations of Reality. The more we respond to his call with zikr and salawat the higher our honor will be in dunya and akhira. Light upon light in our origin and journey back to meet the Prophet saws in Divine Presence.
