Dream: Broken statue

Dream:

Assalamu alaykum

May Allah reward you and lift you to ever higher stations.

Last night I had a dream but I only remember a scene of a broken statue. The statue was just lying on the floor, broken into pieces. It may have been of a golden color.

The same night I had another dream. It was in a moving car, both me and my father were in it. The thing that struck me was that my father had a beard like a Wahabi, but it was very short. Or at least I felt as it was some kind a Wahabi beard. The interesting thing is that my father doesn’t like Wahabis (although he is not a very good Muslim himself).

Another time I dreamt a fierce dog who would rip me apart if he could. There may or may not have been a fence between me and him (Can’t remember).

Interpretation:

audhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem,

Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,

wa `alaykum salam,
The broken statue shows love of dunya coming down in your heart.  Your fathers “Wahabi beard” indicates a defect in his practice which you mentioned.  The dog is an enemy which was prevented from harming you.  Keep reciting darud/salawat as much as you can for more Divine protection and mercy.
