Question:
Salaam,
I recently had a dream that has been disturbing me a lot. To make it short, I was running away from a woman who hates me a lot, and I ended up flying into the sky many times, and I would fall on my face really hard each time. Then eventually, before the end of my dream I flew into the sky and did not fall.
Please help me understand this dream which is bothering me a lot inshallah.

Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:
Wa `alaykumu s-salāmu wa rahmatu l-lāhi wa barakātuh,
The Holy Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam) said that when you are running after dunya it makes you a slave to her, and you cannot catch it. But if you run toward Akhira, dunya will run behind you.
The woman in the dream represent dunya. It shows that you have to put less focus dunya and strive in the way of Allah and His Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), until your soul is free from the desire of this world and fly to heavenly stations.
