Dream: Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)

Question:

In my dream, there were a lot of people near the lake, I was there too awaiting Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). There are currents of light that flow in the lake. Then comes the Prophet (S.A.W). I recite Ya Rasool Al Allah many times. Then he comes and greets a person, the second one is me. I in my heart say ‘Is this Rasool al Allah’, I expect him to be more beautiful than he is and I am in doubt, when he holds my hand a current flows in my body which makes me (I cant explain).

Did I really see Rasool al ALLAH? I am a beginner. Do I have to change my muraqaba to the next level. I am still struggling with my focus on Sheikh Nazim. Please help me with the Muraqqibah too.

Answer:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

As Salaam alaikum,

Yes, inshaAllah you saw Rasulullah (saws). Congratulations! The Shuyukh said that when you see Rasulullah it is according to your capacity, so the doubt is a mirror of where you are in your spiritual development, inshallah you will grown into more certainty in your love and faith as indicated in your dream.

In the muraqabah you can make wudu, pray two raka’ats and sit towards Qibla. Say shahada 3x, astaghfirullah al adheem wa atubu ilaih 200x then Madad Ya Sayyidi or Ya Mawlana Shaykh Nazim 200x. And imagine as if his spiritual support is dressing you like the waves in the ocean. You may see his spiritual image or simply sense his spiritual presence. You can focus on breathing HU. Or engage in zikr and Salawat. As you believe his spiritual support is with you it will grow and manifest in your life inshallah.

Wallahu ‘Alam,

Kamau Ayubbi
