Dream:
Asalaamlikum
Please forgive me for the lack of manners in typing this shaykh. I had a dream where I entered a room with a large sized book, which was the Quran written in gold. There was an old man who was showing me and I opened the Quran and if I can remember correctly I read Surah Fatiha and felt the words with my fingers written in gold.I also saw my older brother with me and then later I walked out with the old man who happened to stop this Mist of black could coming towards us. I had this dream few months back but have only come across this beautiful helpful site. If you can kindly tell me the meaning please.

a`udhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem
Alhamdulillah this is a very good dream. Seeing and reading the Quran in the dream is a great blessing. The Fatiha is the Opening to every goodness, and touching its golden letters shows that the secrets of this surah will be opened to your heart. The old man is a wali who is guiding you and your brother and protecting you from troubles ahead. And Allah knows best.
