Question:
How long after the nikah and the couple lives together can they consummate their marriage -I have heard within 3 days, and some say with in one year. What is correct? If the nikah is done and the couple are together but the wife needs time, how long is it permissible to wait?

As soon as the marriage ceremony and contract are finalized the couple can consummate their marriage.
