Thank you so much for eshaykh and all the teachings and guidance on this site and for giving us a safe and trusted place to ask our questions. I trust your guidance Mawlana Shaykh Hisham and forgive me for not fulfilling my duties as a murid and for all of my sins and for struggling with my ibadah. Please doa for forgiveness for me and my family and for the ummah of Prophet s.a.w.
I have read a lot about marriage on eshaykh. I will be turning 33 this year and I am a single woman. Is it OK to remain single if we don’t engage in the haram? I’m used to being a loner. How does a single woman go about finding a suitable spouse?

Marriage is not only for company but brings spiritual openings and progress.
Recite Hasbiya Allah wa ni`ma al-Wakeel x100 daily.
Make your situation known to the leader of your group in your area and form the intention to marry in order to please Allah and His Prophet. Allah Most High will make it easy for you in sha Allah.
