We did everything except shaving our daughters hairs until now (she is almost 1) since it was a very cold winter and children cool down through their heads. What do you recommend?

Answer:
wa `alaykum salam,
Since the hair of newborn is gone, it is no longer necessary to cut the hair, as it should be done in the early days after birth, and Allah knows best. Since it didn’t happen it is ok, but give a sadaqa on behalf of that child, and insha-Allah when you have your second child you will do the sunnah on the 7th day.
