I have always wondered why some people shave the baby’s hair a few days after his birth. I’ve also heard that the hair is not clean and that it breaks the ablutions. Is it a cultural practice or it is recommended in Islam to shave the hair?

It is Sunnah to shave the baby’s hair seven days after its birth.
