What is the exact status of this hadith, it can be found in the Mishkat 6068, even though attributed to Razin whose book is no longer with us. A lot of people attribute this to Khatib Baghdadi and say it is a forgery?

Answer:
Waalaykumussalam warahmatullah.
Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi narrated it and said it is a forgery. Nevertheless Mulla `Ali al-Qari endorses its meaning as true in Mirqat al-Mafatih.
