Question:
Is it allowed to inject insulin before breakfast some minute?
Answer:
The fast does not break by insulin injection or by checking blood glucose. However, if one needs to inject insulin during the day, then he is not obligated to fast. The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: “Allah loves His servants to make use of His concessions even as He loves them to carry out His strict orders.”
