Question:
Assalam alaikum,
In RAMADAN many people organize fruits and dinner for Iftar breaking of fast. Some people who earn money from horse races also contribute, whether it is halal for us to have dinner in mosque sponsored by such people. Also we do not know who has brought what for Iftar. It is all mixed and distributed for Iftar in mosque. Can we have Iftar with this fruit?

wa `alaykum salam,
If a person provides an Iftar with haram money and expects a reward for it he/she becomes a disbeliever. Those who attend such Iftar are not guilty.
