wa alaykum salam wa rahmatullah,
When you feel you have done something that takes you towards kufr, whether small or big, the teaching of our Mashaykh is recite the Kalimat ash-Shahada 3 times and Istighfar 300 times. Allah is All-Forgiving and All-Merciful.
