Assalamu’alaykum warohmatullohi wabarokatuh,
Until recently I worked as a representative/agent in a conventional insurance company in Jakarta. Granted commission as an insurance agent is so promising that every month it continues to rise even higher than the salary of an employee outside the field of insurance. Yet somehow the longer my heart becomes calm, which in the end I do not intend to focus more on running a job as an insurance agent and move to engage in fishing/farming and I move from Jakarta to Sukabumi once I can to live together with children and my wife. Jobs in insurance today is not the main focus which results in decreased earnings per month, but I just get the peace of mind of its own operating results. Are my actions according to Mawlana is correct?
