Assalam u alayekum !
I was reading a book about the signs of arrival of Syyedna Al Mahdi A.S and it was mentioned in it the following Ulema of Ahl-as-sunnah were of the view that Imam Mahdi A.S had born centuries ago and disappeared and will reappear :
Mulla Ali Qari
Zahbi in Daul-Ul-Islam vol.2 page 115
Ibn e Hajr in Sawaiq e Muharriqah pg 132
and that following believe that Imam Mahdi A.S is the son of Imam Hassan Askari A.S:
Maulana Abdur Rehman Jaami in his book Nafhaat
Sheikh Muhayyudin Ibn e Arbi in Fatuhat Al Makkiyyah chapter 366 while mentioning the lineage of Syedna al Mahdi A.S
Are these references correct? i.e can the information described above be attributed to these persons?
