Question:
Assalam Alaikum Warahmathullahi Wa Barakathuhu.
I have this habit where when I pray my fard prayer individually I ask my duas during the last sajdah of the salah. Some of my friends claim that it is allowed only in nafeel and not in fard. Can you please clarify?

Wa `Alaykum Salam,
It is fine, and making du’a in the last sajdah is mustajab. But avoid doing excessively if you pray in congregation because you have to follow the Imam accordingly.
