I’ve been living in france, i’m french muslim. my parents were from Portugal. I’ve been naqshbandi mureed of Mawlana for 2 years.I’m sorry for my bad english.I have a question about the salat in hanafi madhab. Before enter tariqa,i used to practiced with maliki one.when i discoverded hanafi school, people pray very quickly. In a hadith RasulAllah (saw) advised to pray slowly each part of the rak’at. i’m sure inch Allah that the hanafi madhab have a reason to permit to pray quickly. would you can give us a hadith in order to answer that question. Here, where is a lot of muslims are practicing the maliki madhab & there are many wahabis/salafis, we need to have dalils in order to answer them when they ask us. baraka Allahou fikoum

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

The Prophet performed fard salats in front of his companions slowly so that everyone could observe and learn about their special features. However, some nafila salats exclusive to his person could not be accessed as clearly by everyone. His nafila salats can be classified under three groups: nightly salats, daytime salats and others and are believed to be offered in a faster pace.
