Question:
Assalamualaikum shaykh,
Is on Friday is the Friday prayer replace dhuhur prayer or we do Friday and dhuhur prayer too? because some people who embrace one another tariqah understand Friday and prayers dhuhur well. with the proposition “O ye who believe, if called upon to perform the prayers on Friday, then you made haste to remember Allah and leave your trading. That is better for you if you knew.(QS.Al jumu’a 9)” means according to people’s prayers tariqah followers not replace dhuhur Friday, so they do Friday prayer and dhuhur prayer too in Friday. I do Friday prayers only and not dhuhur in Friday, because my argument is “Where prayer has been accomplished, then you are lying on the earth and seek God’s bounty and remember Allah much, much luck to you.(QS.Al jumu’a 10)”. and is “praying” to QS.Al jumu’a 10 that I think is the Friday prayers.
