We started fasting with Mawlana as we are on the same timeline as Cyprus with only two hours different meaning Maghrib would have entered and the moon sighted in Cyprus before us, this would indicate the start of Ramadhan. The issue we are facing now is that the community have announced Eid on Friday (10th August ’13), this will mean we would fast 31 days.
Question: Do we fast on Thursday? Can we pray Eid on Friday?
