Rock

Question:

Salam,

I was sitting in a place where there were only light gray stones, and there is a mountain next to it,it was calm, there is a basket placed next to it.In the basket there are stones and the other side was empty and black. There is the presence of walya.

Answer:

wa ‘alaykumussalam

Shaykh Nour Kabbani gave a sohbat in which he said:

One Waliyullah was passing by a cemetery and he saw a man sitting there. He asked, “What are you doing here?” He said, “Whenever I feel the difficulty of this dunya, this world, and all the pressure is on me, I come to this cemetery because nobody bothers me here. I look at the end of people.” If you have a neighbor that bothers, if you have a relative that bothers you, if you bother others, look. “That’s the end.” He said, “I come to recalibrate. I go away from everybody and sit with the ones who don’t talk and don’t bother me. I sit and look to see the end.”
He kept white stones and black stones in his hand. The saint asked him, “What are these stones in your hand?” He said, “When I wake up in the morning, I have white stones in my right hand and black stones in my left hand. Whenever I do something good, I throw one white stone among the black ones. When I do a bad ‘amal, I throw one black stone with the white ones. At the end of the day, I see which ones are more, the good deeds or the sins. If my good work is more, I eat and allow myself to rest. If my bad work is more, I don’t eat. I punish myself. I don’t allow my ego to rest. I get busy with istighfaar.”
We cannot do that but we can say “astaghfirullah” every day. Follow the way of Rasoolullah (ﷺ). Make sure that your deeds are acceptable by the saints, the peeran, by Awliyaullah. Inshaa-Allah, we can do our best.
We make istighfaar, but why does Rasoolullah (ﷺ) make istighfaar? He is ma’soom. He has no sins. Our shuyookh have explained that we make istighfaar for our sins but Allah (swt) is continuously increasing Rasoolullah (ﷺ) in levels. Rasoolullah (ﷺ) does not stop approaching the Divine Presence. There is no end to approaching the Divine Presence. There is no end to the levels of ‘ilm. There is no end for the levels of hikmah, wisdom. Rasoolullah (ﷺ) is continuously ascending. His ascension did not stop.

I had a dream in which I saw 100 years old man who lying. And he shown his name tatoo or written on his hand as AYULIYA . I forgot name of the AYULIYA. I noted on paper the same name with paper and pen.

Kindly clear my doubt.

Answer:

wa alaikum salam,

It means to achieve Wilayat you must engrave the name of Awliya in your heart. Otherwise even if you live 100 years in full worship you cannot attain that station.

Response to objection about the Parents of The Prophet (salalahu alayhi wa salam)

Question:

As Salam Alaykum,

I hold the belief that the Prophet’s (ﷺ) parent’s are saved. However, I have heard there is a good objection from Shaykh Nidaal Ala Rashay in his commentary on Al Fiqh Al Akbar (Badr Al Anwar). When possible, could this be responded to?

Answer:

Waalaykumussalam,
How can it be a good objection when the objector misrepresents al-Razi’s position as agreeing with the objection? Al-Razi most definitely does not support that objection as is clear from the very passage cited by the objector.
Secondly, there is no “consensus of the Salaf” as claimed by Mulla `Ali al-Qari (cited by the objector) because the only one of the Salaf who was relatedly claimed to have held that position is Imam Abu Hanifa in al-Fiqh al-Akbar. However, the latter work’s ascription to him is not agreed upon. Furthermore there is a valid possibility that — as established by Imam al-Kawthari — the correct lection of the text itself says the exact opposite, namely that “the parents of the Prophet did not die as unbelievers.” That statement reflects what al-Daraqutni, al-`Iraqi and others also said to the effect that a hadith states they were resurrected and expressed their iman in the Prophet, upon him and them blessings and peace, then went back to their barzakh.
Thirdly, how could the Salaf have possibly agreed on such a claim when Allah explicitly states He does not punish before He first sends a Messenger (al-Isra’ 17:15), whereas the Prophet’s parents were of the Ahl al-Fatra? That and that alone is the sound Ash`ari position as pointed out by Imam al-Suyuti in Masalik al-Hunafa and elsewhere.
Fourthly, in reality the position that the parents of the Holy Prophet are in hell typifies the stance of the Mu`tazila and the Karramiyya as discussed in the relevant literature. It is is most definitely not the position of Ahl al-Sunna let alone that of the Salaf al-Salih.
There are other errors and misunderstandings as well. The above suffices for now to show it is not a good objection at all but a weak one, either misinformed or frankly biased, couched in selective and specious arguments as well as veiled aspersions against al-Suyuti, al-Kawthari and the position of the majority of the Umma. And Allah knows best.
