Prayer Request: Being a tahfiz and marriage

Assalamualaikum ya sayyidi MSH and companions…
alhamdulillah, I’ve been accepted in a tahfiz school please pray for me that Allah swt give me strength and patience in studying Al-Quran..
Recently I am interested with this girl, her name is [private]..my niyyat is to marry her, but I’m shy and don’t know how to talk to her… Please Sayyidi, pray for me that it would be easy for us to be together and safe from doing zina… I apologize for my lack of adab, May Allah bless you Mawlana and your family eternally… Amin~ :)

About Shaykh Al Bouti Part1

AssalamuAlaykum,
I was upset when I saw that there exist the type of people in Syria, who would run their sheikh and teacher out of the masjid. I felt a duty to put something online maybe on youtube clarifying how what they did was wrong, but I’m weary of the trap of speaking where it’s not my place. I was wondering if Shaykh Gibril could do something instead, or maybe Shaikh Ali Elsayed could do one of those cartoons about it. My main points are in part 2. Thanks for taking the time to read them when you do.

Overcoming sleep

Question:

Assalamualykum,
Can you please help me understand and implement the practical aspects of what we hear in Mawlana Shaykh Hisham’s suhbas – for example he mentioned about shuyukh overcoming sleep by praying two rakah nafl and asking Allah’s help to not sleep each time they feel sleepy and to do this for forty days. After 40 days of this mujahida Allah grants it to them.

To do this do we need Mawlana’s verbal permission or asking in muraqaba is enough?

Mawlana said for women the duration between their two consecutive menstrual cycles is enough for any wazifa – will this apply for this kind of mujahida too?

Prayer Request: Studying Overseas

Salam Ya Shuyukh,
Please pray for me so that I could continue my studies at International Islamic College in Malaysia and proceed after that to Abou Nour Institute in the blessed land of Sham/Syria so that I could reach my passion for Islamic Studies. In S’pore there is lack of schools that teach Islamic Studies. I would like to take Usuluddin, Quran & Hadith and Arabic Language as my courses. And also pray for me and my family’s safety in overcoming challenges ahead and pray for me so that my father could accept my acceptance and Baya‘ of the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Sufi Order.

family here and hereafter. Singapore has opportunities to learn strong Arabic, after which you have a lot of excellent Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l-Jama`ah schools in Nusantara to study the Islamic sciences. We recommend you investigate possibilities there first.

Prayer Request: My husband had an affair

Assalamu alaikum dear Shaykh

My husband and I [private] have just come out of not going for a divorce. He started an affair for which initially when I found out (end of last year) he wanted a divorce.
Though he stayed back, I am not sure if it’s really over. sometimes he shows love, care and concern to me and other times it’s like he stayed back to do me a favour. We have an 11yr old child.
I want to take the second chance Allah has given us, but it’s very frustrating and hard when I’m not met half way.

Please look into this and tell me what I should do.

Marital piety is a greater jihad for women but their reward is also greater so take heart from our Prophet’s (upon him blessings and peace) golden advice to women and be aware of the tricks of Shaytan who tries to rob you of that treasure. Give your husband leeway and leniency for Allah’s sake and his love for you will be strengthened insha-Allah. Recite Ya Wadud 100 times to that intention after every salat.

Different Taweezes and fear

Question:

As-Salam-o-alaikum wr wb to respected Maulana Sheikh Nazim & Maulana Sheikh Hisham Kabbani & all the e shaykh Team! Which is valid..the 1st dream interpretation that is made or one that an Islamic trained Scholar or allama give? I have a few protection taweez in my home; one I got from where I had taken bayah from previously & a few from Sheikh where I do Naqshbandhi zikr.. The question is I have bayah from Maulana Sheikh Nazim so the other protection taweez should I put them in a river & let them flow or what should I do with them. Also I hear noises & get scared in the home. Someone said that having protection taweez in the home from different sources or that Are not worn & just there can have a negative or harmful effect. Please could you guide me in this matter kindly, thanky ou! Wsalam

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Even if incorrect, the first interpretation is the effective one so you must be careful who you ask. Keep the taweez closest to Mawlana in origin and get rid of the rest if not in use and if they cause you doubt. A taweez is a du`a that is meant to ask for Divine protection and goodness. So keep your love for Mawlana and do not fear.

Confused – Is Divorce the only solution?

Question:

Asslamualaikum, My husband promised me he would stop drinking alcohol but a week back he told me he still drinks, it’s a habit.. Today he told me whilst he was renting with a Christian family from India he used to eat chicken/ meat non-halal food. He said he eats everything but pork. He admitted he was sleeping with other women. I don’t know why I have anything to do with him. He wants me to be in receipt of government benefits & live alone. Arguements are a daily routine. He’s admitted many times that he married me for the visa/ nationality…He blames me for why I had the kids. Sometimes he says give one child to me you have one. Is divorce the option for me? Sheikh Hisham please guide me. I don’t trust my husband, he is torturing me. I fear he wants to take my kids away from me.

Prayer Request: For security

As-Salam-o-alaikum wr wb, to Maulana Sheikh Hisham Kabbani & all the e shaykh team.. I am writing to request for a prayer request.. I have seen abuse in my family & as a result when I visit my family with my children I’m scared of leaving my children with my brother or sisters alone. I’m extremely scared, sometimes I feel I’m constantly having to call my eldest daughter to me.. When I was expecting my second child, in the last week before delivery I cried & cried as I had to leave my daughter in my parents’ home. Please do dua for me & my children. Sometimes I think maybe shaitan is putting negative thoughts in my mind, it’s painful when I think back, I don’t want my daughters to be effected. Please do dua for us to be protected from all harm & evil .. Thank you wsalam

Help to get married

Question:

Salam Shaykh, I like this girl ,we both have great understanding in each other. Her family knows (apart from her father) that we like each other. They haven’t met me yet due to my age (19) and the fact that my family doesn’t know about it.

Her mother said we shall see what happens in the future and I don’t have any problem. My main concern is her father which they say is a sensitive man in these matters and her mother said there is no chance her father will agree on love marriage. Is there any dua which can soften his heart in this issue and when the time comes he wouldn’t have any problem with it? Is it okay for me to read dua e dawood for her father? And no I don’t want to marry her father :D but can this dua be recited with his name in it?

Dream: Me, Mawlana and Jinn

Dream:

asalamulaykum wr wb,

I had the scariest dream ever in which there is a jinn that’s bothering us, especially me and I go to this store.  It was Mawlana Sheikh Nazim’s store that had a drive-thru but they didn’t serve food. They just answered your questions. I told the lady what was happening, that the jinn was bothering us too much. She said that the jinn is a woman that lives in Kandahar which is in Afghanistan. She said that she easily duplicated your 10 points and entered you. I was asking for help and Mawlana in the background said something but the lady didn’t tell me anything. I asked for help and she was quiet. The dream seemed very real and it was very frightening. Please reply to this because I’m nervous and scared.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

Each day make wudu before sleep, pray Salat on time and recite your daily wazifa. Read the last three Surats 33 times each then Fatiha and blow on yourself.
