Dream: Prophet (saw) all covered in black

Question:

I had a dream and it got interrupted: I got a piece of paper, a female voice said, you will not be in trouble for you will come to see the Prophet Muhammad (saw). I walked into my house, there was a room, white and light, in the room I saw a human, I knew who, but ALL covered up, in black. I couldn’t see him.

When I get to him, I am on my knees throwing him a big hug, like hugging my parents when I haven’t seen them for long, I burst out in tears, my emotions was too overwhelming. I can feel his smile, and he laughs, pats me on the shoulder and I hear his thoughts clearly “There is no need for you to crawl like that for me” I handed him some flower from outside, I felt like that was important to give him.

Answer:

A very good dream which is good news that you will leave this world only
as a believer in sha Allah. Black indicates the encompassing
intercession of the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) for creation,
and Allah knows best.

Before ruksati, can I meet my husband

Question:

I got married {nikah} in Jeddah court. The qazi read nikah the same way it is done in mosques and my parents were present. After that I came back to India with my parents to study and my parents have not told anyone about it. They are planning for a ruksati next year. This year we are going to Saudi again so can I meet my husband alone and spend time with him before the ruksati. As the nikah is finished, is this not allowed in Islam?

Answer:

Islamically it is fine to consummate the marriage after the nikah. There is no need to wait for the rukhsati. One of the conditions of a valid marriage is to be announced publicly. Why don’t you have a simple waleemah so no one can point a finger at you.

It has been reported from the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam: “Waleema on the first day is confirmed (haq), and on the second day, it is good (ma’ruf), and on the third day, it is showing off.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, no. 3738) .

Resistance to find soulmate

Question:

Assalamu’alaikum,

Syaikh, I’m a single woman age 4_years old, never have a marriage before. Every time I meet someone who wants me to be his wife, I feel that he is not good for me. Now, I met my old friend (my school friend), a widower. He lets me to have a date, make a close relationship, etc. But, once more, I feel he is not a good man. I feel he use magic to attract me. I’m worried about that, because when I was young, sometimes jinn & something like that disturbing at me…

Is he good for me? Is he use magic to attract me?

Answer:

Wa alaikumussalam,

Make dua and pray Salatul Istikharah, ask for Allah’s guidance. Recite Salawat 100-1000 times after each of the five prayers to erase jinn and magic from you. Life is short, time goes so fast and age is getting on. There is no Mr. Perfect. Accept whoever Allah sends for you, complete half of your religion and make the best of it.

Fabricated or not? 10 Companions promised paradise

Question:

Assalamualikum,

Please could you tell me if the Hadith mentioning of 10 companions being promised paradise is a fabricated Hadith or is it a true Hadith? I am finding it very hard to believe it now after doing some reading.

Thank you

Answer:

Wa `alaykum salam,

Article 95 of Imam Tahawi’s `Aqidah states:

We believe that the ten companions, those whom the Prophet (s) named and gave the glad tidings that they would go to Paradise, as he said, and what he said is true. Those companions are Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, `Umar, `Uthman, Sayyidina `Ali, Talha, az-Zubayr, Sa`d [ibn Abi Waqqas], Sa`eed [ibn Zayd], `Abdur-Rahman ibn `Awf and Abu `Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah, “the trustee of this ummah”. May Allah be pleased with all of them.

Marriage problems since two weeks

Question:

Salam w alaykum shaykh,

First I want to apologize for asking this question and my complains. I have some problems lately. My mother is getting a divorce with my stepdad and also my father is getting a divorce to. I find it really hard to deal with this. I’m not the same person as I used to be. I feel depressed and sad. When I wanna talk to my husband about how I feel, he gets irritated or mad at me and says that I nag and complain all the time. Most of the time we are in a discussion and he always says it’s my faulth and that he needs a new relationship. I know I complain allot and I’m not making my husband happy all the time, what can I do to make my marriage back about love and support?

JazakAllah.

Answer:

Wa’alaikumussalam,

Keep your parents’ problems to yourself and no need to discuss them with your husband since he gets irritated with it. Show no sadness or depression to him ever if your heart is broken. Don’t let the same situation happen to you. Reducing complaints increases intimacy with your husband. It will bring more blessing, love and support to your  marriage. As for your parents, make dua and pray for the best for them. Recite lots of Salawat every day 100-1000x after each prayer to remove all the problems.

Picture of prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Question:

As salamu aleykum,

I apologize in advance to burden you with this question. In Naqshbandi circles and some parts of Morocco a photo of Prophet (s) is circulated which is supposed to be a picture sketch by Bahira the monk, when Prophet (s) was a boy.

Is this picture authentic?

If we are to obtain such a picture are we allowed to display it in our homes along with the pictures of Shaykh or should we refrain?

Are we allowed to keep it out of personal love for the Habib just for our own selves?
Again, I am sorry for this question but the community here is conservative Muslim and very sensitive to such displays of affection to the Prophet pbuh and some of the mureeds are displaying this picture in their homes, which is drawing criticism and interrogation.

Thank your response.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

As stated in the Forty Hadiths collected by Imam al-Nawawi: “Leave what causes you doubt and stick to what does not cause you any doubt.”

Dream: Bee type of bug

Dream:

Asalamu Aleikum,

In my dream there were a lot of bee type of orange bugs that were stinging me all over my body. I’ve seen this dream few times in 5/7 years. In some dreams I don’t feel any pain and in some I do feel some pain from their sting (even though in reality their sting hurts a lot).

JazakAllahu Khairan.

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm

Wa alaykumus salaam.

This dream can mean that you may be involved with argumentative kinds of people who backbite and debate politics and don’t do remembrance of their maker (dikr). Seek the people who reminds you of Allah and you will InshaAllah be happy.

And Allah (swt) knows best.
