Silent Zikr

Question:

As salaam alaikum Ya Sayyidi,

Mawlana Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani gave us awrad of 1500 Allah Allah and 300 salawats daily. After I complete this, may I do zikr Allah Allah throughout the day any amount with no count? Also can you please tell me how to still the thoughts that whirls around the mind, how to be always in the presence of my Sheikh? These are not bad thoughts, just the chattering of the mind. Thank you.

Answer:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Wa ‘alaikum Salaam wa Rahmatullah,

It is permissible to repeat more Allah, Allah during the day but there are also many other  dhkar that can be recited as part of your daily zikr such as la ilaha illAllah, subhanallah, wal hamdulillah, wa Allahu Akbar etc. Ya Hafiz, Ya Halim, Ya Wadud etc.

You can say Audhubillahiminashaytanirajeem BismillahirRahmanirRahim 100x or more daily. Take from the Naqshbandi daily devotion book. It’s important to build a solid foundation of zikr consistently, rather than doing a lot then dropping it.

As for connection to the shaykh you may read The Healing Power of Sufi Meditation book by AsSayed Nurjan Mirahmadi. Rabitah– heart connection with the Shaykh to the Heart of Prophet (saws) is recommended during your daily awrad and other times of sitting doing zikr. When you learn breath awareness with your zikr, you can get out of the chatter into presence of heart.

Dream: Golden Necklace

Dream:

Assalamualaikum blessed Shaykh Nazim and Shaykh Hisham and all eshaykh staff,

My auntie has this dream: She saw me wearing three golden necklaces that are shining and beautiful. She immediately pointed to it and says I cannot wear it as it is haram for Muslim men to wear gold. I replied that I was only safe-holding it for my mother. She seemed satisfied with the answer and took and wore one of the necklaces. The other two somehow suddenly not there but in safe hand.

Thank you in advance ya Shaykh

May Allah Give long life and excellent health to Shaykh Nazim, Shaykh Hisham and all blessed eshaykh staff.

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Wa `alaykumu s-salāmu wa rahmatu l-lāhi wa barakātuh,

The three golden necklace represent a spiritual trust or secret that you will inherit from your mother’s side but that you are not ready to carry yet. It will come at the appropriate time insh Allah.

And Allah knows best.

Parents to agree for marriage

Question:

Assalamu alaikum,

I was loving with a boy. We loved very much. He told his parents. They and his relatives, brother and sister, didn’t agree for our marriage because of my bad family background… After it, he promised to his mother with Qu’ran that he would never contact to me. We had bad relations (sexual) at the time of love (we ask thouba every time). So I couldn’t marry another man. I don’t want to cheat any one. Please suggest me duas to get him back as my husband and to melt his parents, relatives mind and to agree them for our marriage soon. Please. My parents are searching for marriage. I am dying here. As you can please reply to me fast. I did a ishthikara and first day and had a dream that our marriage functioned. After it, did many times but nothing had. Please help me and pray for me to get him back as my husband.

Answer:

Wa’alaikumussalam,

Make dua and lots of Salawat (1000 times after each of the five prayers). It is important to marry a man that loves you and one of the happiest marriages comes from the blessing of the parents. There are so many difficulties here that the best marriage might be to someone else. Open your heart to whatever Allah will send. Allah knows best.

Dream: Prophet (saw) all covered in black

Question:

I had a dream and it got interrupted: I got a piece of paper, a female voice said, you will not be in trouble for you will come to see the Prophet Muhammad (saw). I walked into my house, there was a room, white and light, in the room I saw a human, I knew who, but ALL covered up, in black. I couldn’t see him.

When I get to him, I am on my knees throwing him a big hug, like hugging my parents when I haven’t seen them for long, I burst out in tears, my emotions was too overwhelming. I can feel his smile, and he laughs, pats me on the shoulder and I hear his thoughts clearly “There is no need for you to crawl like that for me” I handed him some flower from outside, I felt like that was important to give him.

Answer:

A very good dream which is good news that you will leave this world only
as a believer in sha Allah. Black indicates the encompassing
intercession of the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) for creation,
and Allah knows best.

Before ruksati, can I meet my husband

Question:

I got married {nikah} in Jeddah court. The qazi read nikah the same way it is done in mosques and my parents were present. After that I came back to India with my parents to study and my parents have not told anyone about it. They are planning for a ruksati next year. This year we are going to Saudi again so can I meet my husband alone and spend time with him before the ruksati. As the nikah is finished, is this not allowed in Islam?

Answer:

Islamically it is fine to consummate the marriage after the nikah. There is no need to wait for the rukhsati. One of the conditions of a valid marriage is to be announced publicly. Why don’t you have a simple waleemah so no one can point a finger at you.

It has been reported from the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam: “Waleema on the first day is confirmed (haq), and on the second day, it is good (ma’ruf), and on the third day, it is showing off.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, no. 3738) .

Resistance to find soulmate

Question:

Assalamu’alaikum,

Syaikh, I’m a single woman age 4_years old, never have a marriage before. Every time I meet someone who wants me to be his wife, I feel that he is not good for me. Now, I met my old friend (my school friend), a widower. He lets me to have a date, make a close relationship, etc. But, once more, I feel he is not a good man. I feel he use magic to attract me. I’m worried about that, because when I was young, sometimes jinn & something like that disturbing at me…

Is he good for me? Is he use magic to attract me?

Answer:

Wa alaikumussalam,

Make dua and pray Salatul Istikharah, ask for Allah’s guidance. Recite Salawat 100-1000 times after each of the five prayers to erase jinn and magic from you. Life is short, time goes so fast and age is getting on. There is no Mr. Perfect. Accept whoever Allah sends for you, complete half of your religion and make the best of it.
