Question:

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
Marhaba

my question is I want to follow Maulana Nazim and the Haqqani way in Tasawwuf
but i follow the Maliki Fiqh.. i am active in studying the Deen and learning the Arabic Language..
is this permissible?

Answer:

wa ‘alaykum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Following a madhhab in no way conflicts with following any of the Four Schools of fiqh and there are Naqshbandi mureeds from all of the four Sunni madhhabs, and even the fifth, the Jafari school. Allah knows best.

Father Died Suddenly

Prayer Request:

Asalamu Alaikum,
My father passed away suddenly in his sleep and he had no current/prior illnesses or diseases.
He went to sleep one night and never woke up next.
Please pray for him and my mother/youngest brother is very heartbroken.
Please make dua.

My mother had a dream I was helping her to produce breastmilk and then her milk came in so much and it kept coming out on its own she wants to know what it means

No intimacy – help me understand.

A. Alaykum.

Ever since I began being closer to Allah and our Deen I have unintentionally pulled away from my husband Intimacy and understanding. I have tried and pray but he is becoming a stranger. I am more pulled into world of ibadat. Alhamdulillah.

Answer:

Wa alaikum Salaam wa rahmatullah, 

If your husband is a good man, make your intention of Ibadat to increase kindness, compassion, love between you and Allah and you and the creation (including your husband).  Sitting with your husband, spending quality time with him is also considered a sunnah and ibadat.
Worship should be a door to self knowledge and our humanity to know Allah intimately,
but sometimes it can lead to bypassing important human needs such as intimacy.  Discern well and may Allah bless you with completion of your deen!

Seeing Shaykh Adnan

Dream:

Today In dream I saw first that I met with Shaykh Adnan(Q.S) in a school he calls me near to him in reply I say Shaykh I will come tomorrow but he says no come now then he hugs me kiss me then after some time when when i pass by the class he was standing before I saw him lying on floor dead with kafan on his body. And In dream I thought he died of short circuit as he was dead near to switch. I immediately run towards Shaykh Hisham to tell about his brother but when I arrive he already knew and said Janazah will be offered in 1pm noon. I sit there two more mureed comes. And they started smoking in front of Mawlana and one offers me too but i reject saying I dont smoke. Then I start telling Mawlana that I have two happiest movement in my life the first when I met you in Lahore Pakistan (Although I met him in Madinah not Lahore in real) and before i told him the second meanwhile i see Hajjah Naziha entering the room and I saw my mom also standing there and then Mawlana smiles and start making dua.

Interpretation:

wa ‘alaykum salam.

Shaykh Adnan is informing you that you will receive the station of “die before you die” and that will be through a test of being offered something haram and you will fear Allah swt and refuse, then you will be granted spiritual gifts from Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani and from Sultan al-Awliya (represented by Hajjah Naziha). Allah knows best.

Voting

Question: 

Assalamu alaikum ya Sayedy and peace and blessings to our beloved Prophet SAW and to our beloved mashayekh,
I have a quick inquiry about voting ya Sayyedy.
In the past, I used to vote in accordance with this opinion:
It may be the case that the interests of Islam require Muslims to vote so as to ward off the greater evil and to reduce harmful effects.
This has sometimes meant supporting candidates whose views are not 100% aligned with Islamic values.
I understood from last week’s Khutba that one should not vote at all if a candidate is not  mentioning Allah SWT and is not explicitly on the right path with Allah SWT.  Is this the correct interpretation?
