Dream: Old house, sword and Surat An-Nasr

Dream:

assalam o alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

In my dream there was an old woman who was about to die, but before dying she made me owner of her house. In that house I found a secret room which was very beautiful and on bed there were some toothpicks and blades of swords and all blades were broken except one and that one was shining. I took that blade and said that I would make a sword with it, then I went to another room and there my dad was lying on bed and said to me to recite Surat An-Nasr as much as you can in the house.

Interpretation:

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Wa alaykumusalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

This dream can mean that you are going to marry from a wealthy family and may have many children (blades) in the future, and grand children (toothpicks). One of the kids is going to be famous (shiny blade). Your father is ready to travel to the Rahman
represented by Surat an Nasr.

And Allah(awj) knows best.

Dream: Late Mother’s pregnancy

Dream:

I saw my mother pregnant, she passed away five years ago. I was in a room with her, my father (who is alive) is also present. I think when/how/if my mother will pass the pregnancy to me. I also see a lady, who used to work for us in our house for many years. She was a widow, who used to work very hard to support herself and her children. I am very fond of her. She too passed away many years ago. I see her pretty and young and wearing a pretty shirt that I used to like and wear a lot. I see her husband who is also young.

Interpretation:

A good dream showing that your mother’s righteousness benefits you here and hereafter and that you will be in Paradise with those you love in sha Allah.

Prayer Request: Constant Hurdles

Request:

Aslaamualikum Shaykh,

I am 2_ years old and I have been seeking to get married for the past 4 years. My family works really hard to find a spouse and then right after the first meeting with the guys family, things start going wrong and fall apart. Its a constant hurdle. We are never able to move beyond the first meeting. Either the boys family has a problem with the proposal and other times the boy was interested at first and is not anymore. I really am concered. Its been very disheartening because every time we have hopes that things might be different this time, it always never is. I know this is my test from Allah, but I don’t know how to plea to Allah to help me with this test. Jazakallah khair for your help

Response:

Alaykum Salam,

Continue with trust and good cheer, Allah will provide. But switch from working hard dunya-wise to working hard on cultivating acceptance of Divine Qadar for you together with unconditional dua. Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) would supplicate and supplicate and supplicate unsparingly and he forbade us to say I don’t understand why Allah is not responding. He is responding: because He is the one who prompts our hearts toward Him. So persevere and the best has not passed you but is yet to come.

Baby daughter’s weak eyesight

Question:

AudhubillahiminashaytanirRajeem,BismillahirRahmanirRahim
Asalaamu alaikum,

Our daughter will be 3 years old… My husband and I are short-sighted as were our parents. Our daughter had an eye test & the optician said that she is short-sighted (by -1) in both eyes & will need glasses. We are surprised as she seems to see far distances without squinting & names things clearly. Our questions are as follows:

1) Should she wear glasses?
2) Is her shortsighted as a result of hasad, nazar or a time when I looked at anger at my daughter when she misbehaved?
3) Are there duas we should read upon her?

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham is praying for you and your daughter and family. She may need glasses later but not yet. It is all from Qadar so it is a test of that pillar of faith. Give sadaqa regularly and let her wear ta’wiz. Read Salat Tibbiyya or Nuraniyya daily. Take heart and trust in Allah.

I like a person and is younger to me (unmarried). I told my parents that this person is interested in me since 2 years, but he has family issues. He is so afraid that cant take a step and speak to them. Now my parents are forcing me to talk to him or they will take some serious step. He wants hidden nikah so that his family don’t get to know about this relationship, but I cannot convince my parents and just feel I’m in real big mess. Shaikh saab, I cant go back&want to marry him. Please help in this matter. Give me something so that at least his frightfulness will cease, and he can speak and take a step.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

Recite daily x100 Ya Jabbar, Ya Hayyu, Ya Qayyum to your intention and trust in Allah.

A good dream which illustrates the saying of Sayyidina Ali (Allah be well-pleased with him): “there are people who love us so much that if we cut them limb by limb they would not complain.”

What is a Mokial/ Muwakkil?

Question:

Assalamualaikum,

I was wondering what a mokial/muwakkil is?
Thank you for you time, jazakallah.

Answer:

Wa `alaykum as-Salam wa rahmatullah.

In the context of the sciences of traditional Islam, “muwakkil” refers to an angel charged with safeguarding the secrets corresponding to a particular letter of the Arabic alphabet. Now, in this context each letter is also associated with a jinn, so it is important to observe that the two domains are considered distinct. If in popular usage the same word is applied to both domains, here then is yet another example of the potentially dangerous confusion of the psychic and spiritual to which I have referred in earlier posts.

Dream: With shaykh Nazim

Dream:

I had a dream, I was in Shaykh Nazim’s house, in one of the rooms there was like this shrine and when he went inside. He said coming out of it … I’ve had ziyarah of Prophet, SallAllahu ‘Alayhi Wa Sallam. The next day or the next couple of hours later I thought I want to go in as well. So, I went in alone and saw nothing, just windows showing greenery outside. I was very sad. Then for a moment I concentrated purely closing my eyes, hoping for the ziyarah and I saw a beautiful individual with black beard and black hair.

Now, my heart was in two minds Is this the Prophet, Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam or hadhrat Khidhr, alayhis salaam.

I felt like I saw Hadhrat Muhammad al Mustafa, but who did I actually see?

Interpretation:

In sha Allah it is as you felt and congratulations. Keep yourself in a good way and ask to make that ziyara again.
