I sent you an e-mail about a month ago, regarding my problems with my future wife and also problems between my parents. My future wife’s name is [private], from Rawalpindi, Pakistan and my name is [private], from Manchester, England. Since I emailed you things have improved a lot Alhamdilullah but she still sometimes does things that upset me. Please can you pray that she continues her good deeds, and builds repect and love for me, so we have a happy future insha Allah.
Also my parents still fight over small issues, my father’s name is [private] and mother [private]. Please pray for their happiness. Hope to hear from you soon insha Allah

`Alaykum as-Salam,
Mawlana Shaykh Hisham will pray for you and you parents insha-Allah. The Awliya interpret the disrespect of their household as reflections of their own shortcomings with Allah Most High and would make istighfar accordingly, as “the hearts of creatures are between two fingers of the Merciful.” What about us? Therefore let us repent and insha-Allah He will improve our lot. The du`a of the son or daughter for their parents is answered.
Recite after every prayer:
اللهم أصلح ذات بيننا، وألف بين قلوبنا، واهدنا سبل السلام، ونجنا من الظلمات إلى النور، وجنبنا الفواحش ما ظهر منها وما بطن.
Allahumma aslih dhata baynana, wa-allif bayna qulubina, wa-hdina subul as-salam, wa najjina min azh-zhulumati ilan-nur, wa-jannibna al-fawahish ma zhahara minha wa-ma batan.
