Asalaamwalekum,
I humbly ask for your duas. For the last 2 months our neighbours are disturbing us with music. They live in the next block & we asked them politely to lower the music. Finally we complained to authorities. During the day I care for my young old daughter & my husband works. I don’t want to take my daughter to them. Twice they were fine, but the third time they spoke harshly. Since then I shake & cry when I hear the pounding music. My husband spoke to them & another flat has complained.
The stress is affecting my heart&health.initially I asked another neighbour to talk to them and they said wasn’t their problem and closed the door upon me. This has also affected me. We have no other family or close friends to help during the day. I pray to Allah(SWT) to protect my honour & my daughter’s honour as we feel uncomfortable and the stress to have to talk to them is too much for me. Please Ya Sayyidi,Madad Al-Haqq Mawlana Shaykh Hisham & blessed Shayukh, pray for us. Should we move?

Is the noise they make during the day? If so, then be prepared as they may have a cause for defense in case you report against them as they are doing it within their own home and as the saying goes, they may do whatever they like in their own home. For this some tolerance can be expected of you.
If they do it at night and until late, then keep a log. If the noise continues or worsens despite the direct approach, keep written documentation detailing the time and date of each occurrence and how you handled it. Report them to the apartment manager or town council and make a verbal complaint. If nothing changes, mail a formal written complaint. Call the police if the loud neighbors keep up the disruptive behavior. File a report and keep filing them if you have to. Where all efforts fail, then you may move.
