The best “shortcut” is keeping the way of your murshid as much as possible, until you drown in his love. Keep the prayers, the fasts, the sadaqas, the awrad, the recitation of Quran and Dala’il al-Khayrat, and make yourself constant in their suhbat, spiritually through muraqabah and rabitah and physically by watching, listening and reading their suhbats.
