I like a man that I had sexual intercourse with 2 years ago. I repented and asked for forgiveness. He came back in my life now. He wants to work things out with me. I want to work this relationship out in a halaal way. He’s into drugs and alcohol and I am making lots of dua for him so he can become a better person. I don’t know what to do…
Response:
Continue making dua for him but do not let him back into your life. You cannot consider any relationship with him unless he repents and has stayed away from drugs and alcohol for at least six months, otherwise you are going to regret your mistake for the rest of your life. A believer does not get stung from the same hole twice.
