Prayer Request: Isthikhaara

Question:

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,

May Allah shower his blessings upon you in both worlds.

I performed Salat ul isthikhaara, I had one dream in which my wedding date was approaching and I was to marry the guy whom I was doing isthikhaara for, yet I was concerned about my older sister as she is not yet married.

Then I dream another dream in which I am a believe at the masjid, and there is a curved row of ladies, in which my mom and sister are also included and we are all reciting Aouzo billa hi minash shaitan nir rajeem. And as I get up to welcome the ladies who are walking in I with my hand invite everyone closer and I say come closer don’t let the Shaitan in between. What are the meanings of these two dreams?

Upon waking up I feel positive.

Jazak Allah Khayr

Answer:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

Walaikumas salam,

Your first dream indicates positive result for the ishtikhara. Good tiding for you.

The second dream is the answer for your concern for your unmarried elder sister. Seeing her in the mosque with her mother and yourself in a masjid gathering indicating all of you are covered with mercy and khayriat. Insha-Allah you will help people to come closer to Allah. Keep reciting “Auzobillahi minash Shaitwanir rajeem” at least 40 times a day.
