In your recent Facebook posts, the 8th adab mentioned is that mureed should / must visit the shaykh in person regularly even if Shaykh is in different country. Would the same apply if mureed is female and follows a male shaykh?

Yes, if possible to go and be accompanied by a mahram. Allah knows best.
