Do We Need Ijazah for Qasida?

Question:

As-salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah,

The musalla in my college always has gathering for qasida every Wednesday night. So far, we have three different qasidas being recited; Qasida Allah Allah, Qasida Muhammadiyya and another one (I can’t remember the title of the qasida, sorry).

Being a lover of Rasulullah SAW, I also recite qasida on my own. I do Qasida al-Burda and Qasida Ya Imam ar-Rusli.

So, my question is, do I need ijazah from any scholars to recite these qasidas? My place is mainly made up of Ahmadiyya Idrisiyya Rashidiyya Dandarawiyya order.

Thank you in the future. May Allah bless the grand shaykh of Naqshbandi Haqqani order, Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Qubrusi al-Haqqani al-Naqshbandi, the successor, Shaykh Hisham Kabbani and the followers and the lovers of Naqshbandi Haqqani order as well as all the Muslims around the world.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Amin to your dua! Please see Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani’s answer in the Post “Dhikr Ijazah“. Allah bless you too.
