al-Ibriz of Sayyidi Abd al ‘Aziz Dabbagh

as-Salamu ‘Alaykum Shaykh Gibril,

Is the translation of al-Ibriz by John O’Kane & Bernd Radtke reliable? Are there certain parts we need to be cautious of or should we avoid the translation completely?

JazakAllah khayr

Waalaykumussalam warahmatullah,
A better word would be beneficial per Imam Ahmad b. Hanbal’s word, “I never looked into a book except I benefited.” Here’s an arch-reader for dear eyes. As for the parts that demand caution then what human-made book is devoid of them? Allah knows best.
