Question:
i was fortunate enough to go to the dergah recently. i greeted maulana on my first day there and as i kissed his hand he hit me 3 times on my head. when i met maulana before i left , maulana gave me a picture of him holding up the flag with the kalima on it. he told me i come from good stock and that he gives me permission, not to call people too, but to call people naqshbandiya. what did he mean by that?
Answer:
Hitting you 3 times means pulling through you to your head baraka of tariqah and that is why he is saying to call people Naqshbandiyya and through power that the Prophet (s) gave to him he can reach everyone and bring them to the Naqshbandi Sufi Way.
