Asalamu alaykum Sheikh,
I have two very important questions. Firstly, in general, how does a person gain immense, not just normal but immense, love for his sheikh? Fina fishsheikh. Many people have said just think of them but more detail please would make easier.
Secondly, how does a pearson get rid of nafs show off. Meaning when a person thinks of himself high or thinks he’s on a level and looks with noor at himself how do you get rid of this? If you could please answer in as much detail, please, as it takes time for answers to come.

Wa `alaykumu s-salāmu wa rahmatu l-lāhi wa barakātuh,
Mawlana Shaykh Hisham said many times that to gain the love of our Shaykh we should increase our recitation of salawat ala Nabi (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) as much as possible.
