How are you? May Allah bless you with intense love and bounties and you may share with me. I need your help and guidance I am searching for a Peer-o-Murshid. Can you please tell me is there any Naqshbandi Shaikh living in India?
Need urgent reply because I dont want to waste time as I already have.
Answer:
wa `alaykum salam,
You are not wasting time, because:
لا يزال العبد في صلاة ما دام في مصلاه ينتظر الصلاة
“Whoever is waiting for salat in his place of prayer is in salat.” (Sahih ibn Khuzaymah)
And Imam ibn Khuzaymah explained that this is a general principle, that one action can be considered rewardable as another, as a form of worship, when it coincides in spiritual aspects with the other, even though it may not observe all the obligations, rules and principles of that worship. However, if the fundamental condition of that worship is lost this no longer applies, as the hadith continues, “as long as the servant does not make hadath.” And the Companions asked, “What is hadath?” to which the Prophet (s) replied, “To pass wind silently or with a sound.”
So continue searching for Naqshbandi Shaykh in India, no doubt you will be as one who has a Shaykh in India.
FYI: Shaykh Hisham Kabbani has visited India twice in this year.
